Dr. Olga Potapova, Ph.D.

Founder and CEO

Dr. Potapova is an expert in biotechnology, life sciences, business development, and international alliance management. Since 2003, she leads the Cureline Group with excellence in the area of precision medicine, translational medicine research and laboratory services. Previously, Dr. Potapova worked in the fields of cancer research (NIH and Pfizer/SUGEN), human molecular genetics and genomics, oncology drug R&D, and translational medicine. She is the TCGA and CPTAC (NIH, USA) Principal Investigator since 2010. Dr. Potapova has advanced degrees in Physics and Biochemistry and has received multiple AACR/AFLAC awards, NIH and NATO fellowships.

Kathleen Talmadge

Exec. Vice President, Finance & Operations

Kathleen has been an entrepreneur and a business manager for over 30 years. She oversees project management and the financial activities of Cureline. Prior to joining Cureline in 2005, Kathleen was instrumental in setting up and managing various companies in the high-end retail, hospitality and service maintenance industries. She brings to the Cureline team her extensive experience in finance, accounting, purchasing and contract negotiations. Kathleen holds a B.S. in Economics from the Assumption College (Makati, Philippines).

Harminder Singh

MD

Over the past ten+ years, Harminder has been instrumental in customer base expansion, retention, devising engagement plans, and spearheading the global development of the clinical footprint. As head of Sales and BD, he has presided over the biorepository’s day-to-day operations and supervised the successful completion of numerous preclinical studies with the highest quality, ethically acquired human biospecimens from around the world.

His education includes a medical doctorate from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University Ukraine, Clinical Research Conduct and management certification from UC Berkeley, California, and Certification as a Clinical Research Associate from ACRP. As a formal practicing doctor, he has extensive knowledge of various therapeutic areas and advancements in medical science.

For Harminder, helping scientists achieve their research objectives and advancing biotechnological science is the most rewarding part of the job.

Agne Vaitkeviciene

COO, Cureline Baltic

Agne holds a BS in molecular biology (Vilnius University, Lithuania) and MS in organ, tissue and cell donation (University of Barcelona, Spain). Since 2006, she has been working in the field of cell therapy as a quality assurance specialist. Agne co-founded a life science start-up company in 2013 and managed its activities in the field of advanced therapy medicinal product research and manufacturing as CEO until 2019. Since then, she has been actively involved as an expert in EU programs, such as IMI2, EIT Health Innostarts and consults biotechnology companies in life science product development management. For the last three years, Agne plays an active role in life science life science expert groups within governmental organizations such as “Enterprise Lithuania”, Science, Innovation and Technology Agency, “Invest Lithuania” and others. Lithuanian biotechnology association elected Agne as a vice-president in 2019 and delegated responsibilities of coordinating foreign affairs and startup support activities within the association. In 2020, Agne became the executive director of the Lithuanian Biotechnology Association.

Marilda Chung, M.D.

Consulting Pathologist

Dr. Chung is a Board-Certified pathologist with expertise in diagnostic Surgical Pathology and more than 25 years of experience in academic, research, and community hospital settings. She completed her Residency in Anatomic Pathology at Stanford University Medical Center (Palo Alto, CA), where she also completed advanced fellowships in Neuropathology and Surgical Pathology. Dr. Chung held appointments as Assistant Professor and Attending Professor at the Cornell University Medical College (New York, NY), where she was actively engaged in residency and medical student teaching and was an Attending Pathologist in Surgical Pathology as well as Co-Director of the Division of Neuropathology. She has collaborated on numerous published papers in translational and diagnostic/oncologic pathology and has served as a Consultant Pathologist for San Francisco Bay Area research institutes since 1999.
